These standard terms govern your access to and use of the BuyACarToday marketplace. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance
By accessing or using BuyACarToday (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms form a standard agreement between you and BuyACarToday and may be supplemented by additional terms for dealers.
Use of the Service
BuyACarToday is a marketplace that connects buyers with trusted local dealers in the Puget Sound. You agree to use the Service lawfully, to provide accurate information, and not to misuse it — including no scraping, spamming, attempts to disrupt the platform, or use of buyer or dealer contact details for unrelated solicitation.
Listings & Accuracy
Vehicle listings are created and maintained by the dealers who offer them. While we verify dealers and work to keep the marketplace clean, we do not own the vehicles, set their prices, or independently guarantee the accuracy of every listing detail. Always confirm a vehicle’s condition, price, history, and availability directly with the dealer before purchase.
Dealer Obligations
Dealers must be legitimate, accurately represent their inventory, keep pricing and availability current, honor the terms shown in their listings, and respond to buyer inquiries in good faith. Dealers are solely responsible for their listings, communications, sales, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Payments (dealers)
Dealer subscriptions are billed per active listing through our payment processor, Stripe. Fees, billing cycles, and any free trial period are described on the For Dealers page at the time of sign-up. Dealers may pause or remove listings, which adjusts billing going forward; fees already incurred are non-refundable except where required by law.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any listing, dealer, or transaction will meet your expectations. Any purchase is a transaction solely between the buyer and the dealer.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuyACarToday will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any disputes, defects, or losses arising from transactions between buyers and dealers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date below and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
